Many of us shop at Target stores. Did you know that with no additional effort, you can regsiter your Target Red Card and have a percentage of your purchases from Target and Target.com donated to our school, 1% for qualified purchases? As of 12/12/2006 there are 95 Target Red cards registed to donate a portion of their purchases to Woods Road Elementary School. Enrolling is easy. Just choose from our list of 106,000 eligible schools.
Donations total 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of purchases made elsewhere with your Target® Visa®.
Unrestricted funds can be used for playgrounds, books and more.
More than 7 million Target cardholders participating nationwide.
Checks are sent twice a year in March and September to the school principal.
Once enrolled, 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target® Visa® purchases elsewhere are donated to the eligible K–12 school of your choice.* For some schools, it adds up to as much as $10,000 a year, distributed twice a year, in March and September. Donations are available to any K–12 public, private or parochial school that has a 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1) tax-exempt status. See Take Charge of Education program rules for more information.
